Anatomy of shame: Dual Shake vs. Wiimote
May 9th 2006 10:30AM (Joystiq)I was expecting something really innovative from Sony, I never found the PS Controller that comfortable on the PS2, using it on the PS1 was fun but with the PS2 it wasnt the same experience, plus you couldnt shut off the analog.. that pissed me off...
I would have preferred the boomerang controller but as it was already said its not easy to use. I really think that the tilt/gyro sensor thing was rushed by sony and it just doesent suit the sony image... maybe if they had changed the look of the controller and made it more user-friendly... the tilt/gyro thing wouldnt look that bad...
And i dont think anybody is stealing from anybody else as the technology has been around for a long time and its not patented is it (is it?) its just been around so long that people actually forgot about it...
Oh and the vibration would have confused the sensors as the controller would have been moving.... so i dont think it would have helped... plus the dual-shock problems...
Ahh well.. thats my 2 cents anyways :D
