I dont think that this will flop as much as I originally thought... not that I know a whole lot, but every manufacturer loses money on console sales early on. The difference here is that since the console contains technology that is currently out, and has been out for years, the console it self will be cheap to manufacture... where the controllers on the other hand will not be cheap... So they can offer the controllers at a price point where they will lose money, but not lose money on the console itself, so I dont see them being as expensive as everyone thinks.

With standard priced controllers, this thing cant flop.

does this included "banned" gamertags? meaning ones you were forced to change?

pardon my French, but go suck an egg... I don't play left for dead because I want to learn how to kill zombies, I don't play red dead redemption to learn how to ride a horse while shooting bandits with a winchester... I enjoy sitting on my couch in my underpants playing these and all games, I'm not trying to learn anything from my xbox... ever

noone cares that you dont like the music games, and everyone has heard "its not like playing a real guitar" 5 million times, if you do not know its not like playing a real instrument, you should be force fed a plastic guitar. If anyone has any interest in playing a real instrument, I'm sure they aren't waking up at 9 am to go to best buy to buy rock band.

now while i will agree with what your saying, do you think an average ipod owner or iphone user will find a reason to buy a 500 dollar "big ipod" you seem like you just but whatever gadget you want... and thats fine, but i cant possibly see this thing selling like hotcakes.

its not an e-reader, its not a tablet PC, its a 10 inch ipod... i dont get it?

ill give you the wii over the ps2 but just because it does something "different" it doesnt define the decade... the ps3 id say is more defining because of blu ray then the wii is.

the way the decade headed is more about "on demand" content and online multiplayer games, thats not really the wii's thing. Innovative yes, defining, no... i just think people are saying the console they like more is more "defining" and not looking at what the console does in means of where the decade headed gaming wise.
