for the people that are hating like always.. i had been hesitant about buying a psp.. but after all these features.. i'm definetly buying one for christmas.. i'm a contractor, and i need a gps system.. i had been waiting to drop price, but since i'm gonna be able to record family guy, and simpsons on my ps3 and then watch it on my psp, plus a gps..

i'm truly sold.. very nice sony.. i love how my ps3 it's saving me a crapload of money

well i even thou it's pretty stupid that paramount went with hd-dvd, it might be good for bluray users.. i mean this console war has made companies bust their butts a little more to make better games and hopefully it does the same with the quality of blurays

because i have a pretty good tv, and freaking 300 looked so amazingly bad that i'm about to sell it on ebay, and i'm also tempted to buy and hd-dvd and then return it just to see the difference,

does anyone else see 300 so freaking grainy in somce dark scenes, and not as hd as let's say Deja vu?

i have a 42"samsung plasma, is not a cheap or bad tv, not by my standards but just in general, Mission Impossible 3 looked great but again in some sky areas it looked so nasty and grainy it made me pretty upset,

i hope bluray does something about this, and if they don't then again buying an hd-dvd player for like $199 won't be that bad.. so i don't really care, but i don't want to buy an hd-dvd if it's gonna flop, and i don't want to keep bluray if my favorite movies are gonna look crappy at certain points of the movie

well one thing that you have to put into consideration is that once the ps3 gets momentum it goes fast.. because it will not only get momentum in the u.s. but worldwide,

i mean look at the ps2, it has reached 122 mil in 7 years,

and another thing is that people that love their ps2's are more likely to jump to ps3 when the price drops again,

either way i don't see the 360 ever reaching the 20mil line, and while i don't see the ps3 selling 120 mil in 6 years i think because bluray and that it gonna support VOD and appereantly some type of tivo plus the fanbase, most likely it will reach 150mil in about 8 years

but that's just me.. and by then of course the ps3 will be like $ 150 and most of you will own one, and this discussion won't even matter, i mean i'll be 35 for goodness sakes..

All these arguements are made out of pure jealousy and denial..

when i go out and buy a new cd from my fav artists, (the ones i don't like i usually download) i know for a fact that i will be hearing a better quality sound.. i make a copy of my new cd and keep the copy and my car in case it gets scratched, whether the difference is huge or small it's better for sound not to be compressed

why would the developers compress the sound and make it sound not as good if they had the space.. or should they have not compressed it just so xbox fans can be happy??

i want good sound and if they have the space, i'm glad they used it, why the hell does everyone come here being idiots like it's such a bad thing?

if you're happy with your sound and games fitting in 8.5 gb then good for you, but i'm happy i'll be getting some very crisp sound,

what difference does it make to come here and say that it's pointless when is not, if xbox fan would've been the ones with the bluray they would be bragging about this and saying that the sound is gonna be great and poor ps3 morons blah blah blah,

and yes the bluray it's more resistant than reg dvd's, remember sony was being sued for this not too long ago, if you seen in wikipedia under hard coating technology there's some info about it

either way stop hating on bluray and ps3, it's not gonna change anything, ps3 owners are happy and tired of giving out facts, and other fans get more and more facts each week.

these news are apperearing everywhere and even thou people say that who cares what bbc says all these comments are obviously from haters.. it's still good to know that we got a winner in the near future..

i mean we all know great games are coming but we just don't have any yet.. HS looks great, drakes' fortune's graphics are incredible but nothing out yet.. i know that most of us can't even imagine what 2010 it's gonna be looking like..

even thou all this talk about the ps3 and how it's gonna bite sony in the ass blahblah blah... nobody here is a ps3 programmer, all you've heard that the memory sucks have come from hater sites, if you go to NON fanboyish sites just information sites they explaing hot the xdr memory it's not the same as dr memory.. they explain that runs about twice as fast

and it also explains that if needed the cell can control the ram from graphics to processin if it was needed..

that's why unreal it's already saying that the unreal engine it's running better in the ps3 at the 8 month mark better than it did in the 360.. keep hoping that the ps3 it's gonna suck, bottom line they didn't hire some dummy to design a multi billion project, this is sony and they're good at hardware..

if there wasn't any good games in the horizon i would doubt this, but rfom alone kicks ass.. and there's a reason why killzone2 won best graphics and halo3 didn't..

bottom line even this nerd will learn to use the ps3 and then find it easy to use.. as for now he should go get a better haircut

i used the ninja sword and even thou i got a little electrecuted, just go by the mouth of the caves they come out from and i went nuts with combos, and killed them like in 30 seconds.. but be ready to up your health.. you'll need at least 3.. good luck
