No, this would have made 10 times more sense if advertising was in full-swing, already. Imagine if they had a single superbowl ad instead of anything else on TV they're planning on doing, people seeing first-edition buyers will be all going "hey, is that the new Playstation that was on the superbowl?" Reactions may not be that positive, but most people won't react to a portable gaming device they know absolutely nothing about.

How many of those copycatted games are essentially clones themselves? Aren't they all pretty much the same tired puzzle/action game w/ a reskin?

Guess there isn't really much of an argument in that when the best-selling console game this gen is also nothing more than a yearly reskin.

Can the school systems these days even afford 48 DDR mats? I'd imagine half of them would be fake-playing on arrows taped to the gym floor.

maybe if the actual game was good. I paid for Hardened edition but as it turns out, this is the first CoD since CoD4 that I couldnt bother to even prestige once.

and it's only for their loss. Something prompted Amazon to act in the way they did, and because of that they didn't carry one of the hottest toys of EOY 2011. Who knows if they'll really stop carrying 3G Vitas past the first shipment, but if sales take off it's Amazon who screwed themselves over.

It's doom and gloom time all over again. Remember how it was a big deal back when Amazon stopped carrying 3DS's?
