The Conduit to be showcased in Nintendo's PAX booth

Aug 20th 2008 12:42AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Nintendo needs to publish a game of a more mature standpoint. Don't get me wrong I love me some Nintendo branded games but the only true IMHO hardcore game that Nintendo has thrown their logo on since launch has been MP3 (LOZTP being the other). Mario Kart Wii is great but it is still directed to a casual gamer and SSBB is great but it still doesn't have that lasting effect that I long for. I guess you can say that I am a picky gamer but I want games that I can pick up anytime I want and I get right into the action and I am hooked as I was on day one.

Born for Wii: Rogue Squadron (page 3)

Aug 20th 2008 12:23AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I would love to see more Star Wars based games and the Wii is the ideal console for anything from the Star Wars universe. Just imagine a new Rogue Squadron, and Battlefront games for the Wii. This is also not counting the upcoming games with lightsaber action. The possibilities are endless with what one could do with Star Wars and the Wii but I know I could live out my nerdiest fantasies.

Wii Warm Up: Get equipped with ...

I would go for either a good ol' fashioned Mario mushroom, a FF Potion, or I would like to try the drug from Silent Hill White Claudia.

Wii Warm Up: Virtually yours

Aug 17th 2008 12:08AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I am not going through to list them all but I will put it this way. I have enough that my Wii memory is full and I have had to do memory managing via an SD Card. I am also at the point that I am needing to manage my saved games alone with my VC and WiiWare titles. I have gotten to the point of not downloading more until a memory solution is given. I figure that if enough people stop making purchases through the Shop Channel and start complaining that Nintendo will see the need to open the USB drives and allow for some type of expanded memory through a HDD or a flash drive.

Wii Warm Up: Positioning

Aug 15th 2008 9:43AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I have one of those rocking game chairs that sit on the floor that I pull out when I play. Other then that I really don't have a certain position that I am in.

EA publishing action horror 'franchise' from Suda51 and RE creator Shinji Mikami

Aug 15th 2008 9:40AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
All I have to say is that they better not fudge this one up. I mean really look at it; EA has been producing crap for a while now MOHH2 being the exception, Grasshopper Manufacture all I can say is that I played No More Heroes based on this sites recommendation and I really think the game had potential but it fell short. But the creator of RE that is what has me pumped for it. As long as the title doesn't have that Suda51 look or the EA mini games it may be good.

Wii Fanboy poll: Watch any DVDs on your Wii?

Aug 14th 2008 5:27PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Honestly I think that the work going into the homebrew scene is great but all it would take is one well placed system update and your Wii is fried. And don't say just wait to download the update since so far a few of the bigger Nintendo titles has the system updates right in with the game. Not to mention the fact that most people that can afford the Wii already has a DVD player connected to the same TV.

Wii Warm Up: What surprised you at E3?

Jul 20th 2008 4:44PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I think for a gaming conference you should at least put some of your cards on the table. Non gamers could give a crap less about what new news comes from a show that is supposed to be about gamers. Nintendo needs to put focus back on the true fans (the people who are so excited about their console they visit a fanboy site daily). Even the announcement of Wii Speak didn't get me excited since it will work like an old school PC mic. were is the gamer love? I am like many others here I think I will be joining the masses in buying a 360 again and dropping the Wii once and for all. The first year of the Wii I bought around 15 games and so far this year I have gotten three and only have plans for maybe one or two more. I will just hang onto my Wii for my seven year old son since there are more games directed towards him. At least now I am reminded why I left Nintendo when the original Playstation was released.

E308: Wii Sports Resort bundle gets priced?

Jul 16th 2008 1:04AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
That is the price I expected for the bundle. I am just curious how much the MotionPlus adapters are separately. Also I am still curious as to the other games that will be in the new Wii Sports. If all the games are to be resort themed then let it be mentioned that every resort I have been to has had some form of golf or mini golf, you always have volleyball, and then you tend to have various water sports.

We're gonna have a Rabbids TV Party tonight!

This is one to pick up.
