The word "trap" refers to the idea that trans women are trying to trick men into having sex with them. In other words, that we're trying to, well, trap them. That attitude has led to countless assaults, rapes, and murders. So while the word "trap" itself might be fairly new, the violent history associated with it is anything but.

After having slaved away to get Veni Vidi Vici and Prize for the Reckless, there's no way in hell I'm rebuying this game. Still amazing and everyone who hasn't played it should.

Battlefield vs Call of Duty wars are dumb. One's a team-based shooter, the other's an arcade shooter. Get over it.

Dredmor is fantastic and anybody with even a passing interest in roguelikes ought to drop the $5 on it. Oh, and they just announced an expansion pack for it that supposedly adds a lot of new content. Go buy it!

The real difference between Crawl and Nethack is that while Crawl may technically be tougher, it's only tough because it is hard. Crawl is always fair, and you never feel like your death was bullshit. Nethack, on the other hand, delights in having many, many interactions you never would have predicted, and basically requires you to read spoilers to learn all of the tricks and avoiding dying by, say, eating an egg. Once you learn them, though, the game actually gets surprisingly easy.
