Feb 16th 2012 10:15AM (Joystiq)Bastion down to $7.50 on Xbox Live this week
Feb 1st 2012 10:04AM (Joystiq)Wow, I seem to have experienced that moment when too much sarcasm gets confused with actual extreme zealotry. That was supposed to be a joke in response to SlyBeast's dumb "Macs are pointless" quip, but alas. I'm not really rocking the command line all day, that would be miserable.
However, now I'm wondering if there actually is a jctl out there somewhere.
SoulCalibur 5 review: The old flame still burns
Feb 1st 2012 9:59AM (Joystiq)I can wear out my tolerance of Vs. quarter-by-quarter down at the arcade for far less than the $60 this Vs.-only game would cost me to bring home.
SoulCalibur 5 review: The old flame still burns
Feb 1st 2012 9:57AM (Joystiq)Maybe everyone was acting too macho to admit to liking the single-player portions. Personally, I don't see how you can go wrong with adding the extra content, as the most time consuming part of these games is developing the fighting engine and balancing the fighters. The whole challenge tower thing in MK could not have taken very long to implement, yet it gave people hours of enjoyment. Low risk, high reward additions like that should be no brainers.

38 Studios head Curt Schilling elaborates on Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning online pass quest lockout
Jan 28th 2012 3:46PM (Joystiq)I also think the online pass is an alternative to the $70 game, which I'm sure a lot of us would totally lose our heads over. Game development is getting very expensive, and publishers need money, so I'm happier to have someone else pay the extra $10 when they buy it used so I can keep paying my $60 new.
38 Studios head Curt Schilling elaborates on Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning online pass quest lockout
Jan 28th 2012 3:36PM (Joystiq)Yeah, but a date is one-time use as well. It's not like you can tell the person "Well that was great, but I think I'm going to sell you back to GameStop and buy a newer girl."
