This is crazy. Usually it's just the comment section that pisses me off on this site but now it's the main posts themselves?

You had to know that this was going to happen. I mean, I really appreciate you putting this out there, it's kind of cool in a way that you're not afraid to jump out on a limb, I respect you for that but this is just plain crazy!

Oh well, maybe it's just the definition of shovel ware that all of us readers are confused about.

Items of Import: Look Ahead! Dragon Quest V

DQV is my second favorite next to III. I am really hoping that we see an actual localization in either NA or EU but if not there's always the SFC version with the translation patch.

DS Daily: Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest?

Sep 14th 2008 11:56AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Dragon Quest, it's more endearing and the lack of bell's and whistles makes it very easy for me to find comfort in the series.

Most FF games are too much for me anymore but I'm old and that's my excuse.

I really hope that DQIV sells well enough for Square Enix to be able to localize the V and VI remakes for DS.

You know what you are getting into with a DQ game and that really makes the series appealing to me. It's a classic formula that never changes. A lot of FF games are a good example of someone trying to fix what isn't broken.

Fanswag: Final Fantasy IV

I borrowed a friend's copy of the re-make and played through it. It was pretty good except that I wasn't too much in the mood for it. I always considered this game to be more fun to play in the winter.

I sitll have my copy of FF II (SNES) from when it came out and I also own the GBA version.

That strip of white in between the actual box-art and the banner really bothers me.
