The thing is that feature, combined with the processors being based off of the GC hardware, is the reason the Wii has perfect back-comp (at least that I heard). Plus it actually allows using cheat discs for GC games, when you can't do the same with PS2 games on the PS3 (can you?).

I don't think you realize this is Square-Enix's call as much as Nintendo's.

Considering this was a 16-bit console, trying to do a SPRITE-BASED FPS, I'd say it's not that bad.

I don't call it a legite complaint to claim a form of mapping or shading should be applied, just because you want it to be, not because it actually fits with the art direction of the game.

Bull5hit. Yes, casual gamers have given Nintendo their largest audience, possibly ever, but don't even pretend Nintendo has forgotten the loyal hardcore gamers, who stuck with the Gamecube, and made sure the system still stayed profitable.

Nintendo's new philosophy is EVERYONE is a gamer, which INCLUDES the hardcore.

Plus considering the news about Metroid Prime 3 not having online (although never actually promised) upset so many, that Capcom likely wanted to reassure fans that this game did have multiplayer.

As for the comics on the poll, I must have read some too fast. I thought extra life actually did that Silver Surfer strip, as a wink to the 2p start strip, since in that strip, extra life still one.

Yet I voted for Digital Unrest, since I think the phrase "Man Hunt" is why it's really banned. ;)
