May i be the first person to reply and say this looks to be one of the best Square-Enix games of recent times. To be 100% honest, every game after FFIX has been below expectations, and that includes FFX, FFX-2, FFXI, FFXII, FFXII on the DS etc. Crisis Core is not bad, but was never ment to be better than FFVII, just to complete the story.

This game however, is a FF Fanboys DREAM. Everyones favorite characters fighting to the death.

Seeing Squall in those graphics made my jaw drop, i cannot tell you how amazing it feels to see Squall in such good graphics.

I can only hope FFVII, VIII & IX are remade. Zidane looks great too.

FFVII Crisis Core sold a crazy amount, wasn't it something like 700,000 in a week including all 77,777 PSP's?

That's a heck of alot of units to move in a week for the release of one game.

Monter Hunter 2 was a huge push for the PSP. The PSP is a real handheld gamers console, it doesn't get enough recognition because of fanboys and people like yourself who probably say it's good to your friends but online, spread crap where more people read it and get put off by it.

I'm not sure whether to get this or not... i mean, it's not going to be numbered, it wont have the silver foil packaging on the Crisis Core game and it wont have the Buster Sword.

I might just buy the English game instead...

Jesus Christ, that = £150 in the UK. I paid the equivalent of £220 ($440). I cannot believe this....

But it looks like those PSP's aren't numbered, so i suppose there's that.

But they are not limited to 77,777 pieces now.

Well it's either fork out for a PS3, or get an xbox... still an easy decission.
I'm 21, Male and Australian, so really i'm the price market for this gens game consoles. I know 5 people with PS3's, and zero with xbox's (although I did speak to a mates mate who was thinking of getting one).
I think American's are the only ones have forgotten about last gen and how rediculous the xbox was.

How did the 360 catch on after the original Xbox was such a weak attempt at entering the console market.

I think the price has something to do with it. You could buy 2 360's for the price of 1 PS3. And 3 Wii's for the price of 1 PS3.

Price has ALOT to do with sales this gen.

I know for a fact the PS3 would be #1 selling if it sold for the same price as the Wii.

(I own a PS3 & a Wii by the way)

for goodness sake... Censorship this, censorship that. I'm 18 and i've never had censorship in my home, but i've had censorship in work/school etc and it's a whole bunch of crap. It doesn't filter out 'bad sites' it filters out anything that swears.

You hear kids swearing all the time unless you never get out your house. You'll see pornographic images all the time whether it be magazines, a friends phone, the movies etc.

it's 2008 people. stop censoring stuff. People WILL see it anyway. Swearing and pornography (believe it or not) is natural and i seriously dont see a problem with it.

I know if i have kids i dont give a shit if they see porn. So what?

no thats what i do too, works fine and its safe :) i do it on my PC too...

look at the Japanese writing on the box of the thing.. I've had allsorts of 'screen protectors' and they come in the same packaging. They look DIRT cheap and usually aren't fit for their purpose. They're probably worth 1p each. avoid like the plague.

FFVII fans are in love with the story and gameplay, the graphics is just a fantastic bonus...

I can tell you don't like FFVII, listen to yourself! haha, when FF went to Playstation it went downhill? What are you smoking? Some of the best games ever made (FFVII, VIII & IX) came out for the Playstation.....

calot is right, i BEG people not to download this, even if it becomes availiable... because if you do, it's less likely Square-Enix will think about a remake of the original FF7 because of hackers & bootleggers. Any FF7 game is worth the money, just because of the time it taken to make it.
