Why I can't understand is why you don't let your favorite characters to face life?.

You always want a character to be happy, with no worries in the world and livin' la vida loca while working with no troubles whatsoever.

In my experience, I loved how Carter is now experiencing the other side of medicine. It was amazing how in the last scene he was looking at the wall with that look that says "even with all my knowledge I am here, waiting for this to keep on with my life".

I loved how to complete the Gelstat circle, now Carter has to face the ER as a potential patient.

He's once again a noob in that hospital, just this time is his own life he has to worry about.

first of all this finale was a complete garbage in the series. Thanks to this episode The sopranos will be on E! true hollywood stories as the top 10 worst ending of all time.

second of all this guy (chase) had no respect for the audience. As many people said it was a totally waste of time. You see, the Sopranos is about the mob, the killing, the money, not about "choices" or letting the tv going to fade to black ... that didn't gave them the ratings and the support of the people to last for 6 seasons.

third of all it was a slap on the face to the tv show. For god sake, The sopranos put food on your table Chase! and that's how you thank it? by making the last episode with 80% of the people saying it was crap? is it maybe the 20% of the rest (read conformist) who gave you the ratings to the show? so you are saying you can make a TV series with only a 20% of what people like?

you sure about that? think again.
