NPD: Handheld gaming growing in popularity among children

Apr 30th 2010 3:23PM (Joystiq)
As I get older, I'm getting more into handheld gaming. I'm so busy that it's hard to sit down for a couple hours to put in a console gaming session, but it's easy to pick up my DS for 20 minutes, and then just close it when I've got something else to do.

You think that the Walkman and the CD were failures??? You've got some high standards my friend.

Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes trailer may look familiar

Jul 10th 2009 7:53AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I played Might & Magic: World of Xeen back in the day, but I don't see what the connection is to this game. Is it in the same "world"? Considering that this new game is a completely different type of game, what makes it Might & Magic? Anyone?

Geez, I haven't even finished Dragon Quest IV yet, much less Dragon Quest V, or Rune Factory 2, or Fire Emblem, or... Too many games!

DSi design history to be revealed in GDC talk

Feb 24th 2009 1:59PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
How can Nintendo expect anyone to buy the DSi if they don't play up the exclusive software? Their angle should be: "If you want to play these great games, you have to buy this system," not "Here's a flashy new system! We'll tell you about the games later..."

Surprise! Introducing our DS and Wii tabs

Thanks for making that happen so fast. Glad to have DSFanboy back.

Welcome to Joystiq Nintendo!

Good luck with the new site! As a hardcore fan of DSFanboy, I will certainly be sticking around. Let me just add my voice to those who are requesting a DS content filter. I don't own a Wii, so I'm really not interested in Wii-related news.
