any game with online verification needs spelled out VERY CLEARLY ON THE BOX the minimum date that the software will be available for play otherwise a patch MUST be available to remove all server verifications one year or more out from the dissolution of the servers. this is something I would like to see in law as it essentially takes all rights away from purchasers of software that use such verification methods.

or change copyright laws such that if such verification servers ever become unavailable that software is no longer protected by said laws.

the crab was the level 5 boss (it's probably the 2nd toughest)
the second to last (and toughest imo) was the alien that was on the front cover that spit bouncing rocks at you
the last boss was the mutated human in badass armor and was pretty easy if you could get him stuck in a corner just right otherwise that whip he had would kill in 2 hits.
I usually died on the spikes somewhere in level 8 if you don't know the exact path to fall in one room you just die. or the jumping worm things in the next room finish me off.


of course Blaster master was the 2nd game I ever got for the nes (after Mario/Duck Hunt)

Or the fact that most people wouldn't pay 3.99 for a streaming movie rental period. When other online streaming services get down to the prices of netflix for UNLIMITED streaming we'll see more interest in them.

When cd music ripping software first came out it used to ask if you got permission from the artist to copy the cd because it came across a 'copyright bit' so doesn't that mean since all (or most at least) cd ripping ripping software bypasses this mean it's 'TECHNICALLY' bypassing copy protection? So according to the DMCA it's ALL illegal?

just to raise the point of how much protection is considered protection? a single bit? a simple cd check? how much really?

have you ever seen an NIS game that has great graphics? stuff like disgaea 3 looks like ps2 and Makai kingdoms looks like PSX but I still like them

I haven't played a Square-enix published title in a while though NIER and Front Mission evolved I will pick up despite them being Square enix

might get a used copy of FF13 next year for cheap when 1/4 of the millions start showing up on goozex and ebay just like FF12 did. I'm sure no one remembers the FF12 buzz do they?
