See, what a lot of people who agree with these hacking jacka$$es don't understand is that you ARE free to do what you want with the product you own. You can develop your own software for the PS3 if you'd like. You can cut it open and attach a toaster to the side if it strikes your fancy. The thing is, you do NOT own the operating system ON your PS3. Sony does. So what Hotz has done is take Sony's property and change it without their permission. That's illegal. It's the same way with any other piece of software. You may own the DVD it came on but the software itself is owned by the company that created it unless otherwise specified. That's why you have a license agreement and a ton of legal info in every software box. They are licensing you to use the software but usually you are not allowed to change that software without permission.

Summary: All Sony is doing is protecting it's own property. You don't own the operating system, they do. You DO own the hardware and can change it any way you'd like including installing your own software after wiping it if you can get anything working as long as it doesn't use their OS at all.

Anon is just a bunch of children who want what they want without thinking anything through or caring about how it affects anyone else. Bunch of selfish assholes.

Pretty much. I've got seat warmers in my Jetta and it goes up to five. I don't ever see a need to go over 1, 2 if it's below zero. 3 is just TOO hot. I imagine the people burning themselves are just turning it up all the way in hopes of getting warmer quicker.

Probably the same one that was at the St. Louis Auto Show this past January. Beautiful car and was the centerpiece of their Million Dollar Mile.

Eh, DSL should be activated by 8PM Central tonight so I'll only have to wait about an hour to try it out and knowing AT&T, it'll take at least that to get everything going. Can't wait to play Killzone 3 online without getting booted every couple of minutes due to f'd up latency thanks to living in a big apartment complex with a ton of Motorola employees that all have cable internet too. 1Mb download when they are all home, which happens to be when I'm home too. 10 minutes to load a 360p 3 minute youtube video. Ugh. /rant

Is the PC version less than $20 bucks now? I may have to pick this up just so I can play with the mods. LOL at "Yeah, I think I've got enough on my plate at the moment Roman."
