Wow, the difference between the xbox fanboy comments and ps3 fanboy comments is huge. On the xbox side of things, you have everyone accusing the parents and trying to deflect blame off microsoft (whose fault that was not). And on the ps3 side you have everyone playing it down as its moral for that to happen. Its just funny, thats all.

Considering standalone Blu-Rays are ridiculously expensive and games are so big I don't see the point.

And if they are hacking it to add features, what can they add that I'll want? I can already watch movies, avi's, view photos, use the interweb and obviously play games.

I'm sure they will keep doing it, as its probably a hobby for them, but it seems rather pointless to me.

I couldn't agree more. I like having to aim the oval as well as get my timing straight.

Also another bit of advice, if you can obviously see a ball is going to miss, follow it anyways with the oval aimer just to get used to aiming.

One thing I would recommend is going into settings and turning on the plate coverage indicator. Its a yellow oval you have to aim to where you think the ball will go when batting. For some reason is it disabled which doesn't make sense to me.

Considering most people who own Xbox's don't like Sony, I don't know how well this will go. One one hand, the format tussle is over but on the other, Xbox owners can be a bit stubborn. Especially the ones who wanted HD movies and have the add-on.

Good to see though as I'm sure there are some people who really enjoy HD movies regardless of format.

The next Microsoft console will probably be here in 2009. They take the shorter lifespan, newer technology approach. Thats fine for people who want great things in the now, but I prefer my consoles to last longer. Everyone has the there own preferences, and thats awesome.

By the way, jobs like this demand cockiness and arrogance. If you are not convincing the shareholders with brimming confidence, you are doing something wrong.

Excellent. I am a huge fan of new experiences. Thats why I chose playstation this time around, is I wanted something different than sequals to games I've already played.

Keep the new IP's coming, please.

I enjoy my SCEA games. I only have 4 of them, but I play them a lot.

My third favourite game of all time is made by info, Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 (and 2).
