A lot of people that I talked to are giving this game along the lines of the middle 8s (out of 10) and personally, I agree with them. It's on par with Silent Hill 2 in terms of quality (yes, we joked about how the texture quality is so-so). And there's no PS3 install for PS3 owners. Game loads fast in those times that it loads and there's no loading in between rooms. It's quite possibly one of the best Silent Hills I've seen in a while. Also, remember what IGN said about Silent Hill 2:
"Silent Hill 2 doesn't break any molds or revolutionize the survival-horror genre in any particular way..." -- IGN

My girlfriend wanted me to say that she wants me to register for her for this beta so that she can make some really cool levels based on her desk. Seriously.

I think the only reason why the game will have strong sales is because of how many copies people will need to buy in order to successfully activate the game. Sadly, mine's up to $150... one for my girlfriend on her computer, and the other one for my friend who registered my copy of the game using his newly created account.

Looks like the characters are a mashup of the existing Mega Man sprites:

Magma Man = Needle Man body, Fire Man "fire" effect
Tornado Man = Wood Man face and colors with head lowered into body, Quick Man arms and legs
Concrete Man = Toad Man (yes, there really is a Toad Man)

And sorry for spamming but (gasp) TURN BASED BATTLES for a MMO!

TOTALLY getting it now! I finished the first game and loved The New Nightmare

Will it still be episodic (i.e. you gotta buy each episode)? I was kinda confused by that.
