That is great news... with EA holding rights over GTA we won't have to wait ages for a new GTA game. In fact I can't wait to play GTA 2009, followed by GTA 2010 and even GTA 2010 winter edition.
On a more serious note while I certainly would not like to see this deal go through but if EA treats Rockstar like they do Maxis it might not be so bad.

Btw. who brought the 2pstart server down... I can't seem to access it.

For me 2p start wins, by a close margin though. bp1 and DU were pretty close.
