FF7 on the PSP is great, but it's pathetic that people are playing for a game that many have already bought previously when all Sony is doing is making an image of the game and slapping it up on PSN. It's disgusting.

Am I the only one thinks this sucks? They're charging for decade old content. Anybody who is paying for this that owns an original copy of FF7 is stupid. All they are doing is ripping a game they made 10 years ago and reselling it. I can understand those that never played it or own it, but for gawd sakes, this is what m33 is for... >.

Blah. Sony going back to milk the same cow again. Seriously folks, THIS is why you should hack your PSP if it is capable. There is NO reason you should have to buy this IF you own the game already. NOTE I AM NOT CONDONING PIRACY HERE. I am condoning not paying for the same thing twice if you already own it.

As an avid player of the free to play PC game and also having both Hot Shots PSP games, I can say that Pangya has a certain charm to it that is missing from the Hotshots games. I can't wait for this.

There's been too many of these "mistake" corrections lately. Me thinks it's really just companies reigning in spending before actual production.

Won't happen, because there are too many games WITH buzz that are not getting localized, let alone ones without buzz.

Licensing gets applied with certain very specific distribution rules. As it is now, they have to get new licensing for these games. In the future, licensing will likely include digital distribution so they don't have to go through the whole process but once.

But truly, how is this a diversion? I mean the store is already there. The ability to view images in the PSP is already there. So tell me how this diverts the attention of Sony away from games? Sony is not about games. They are about enabling companies to promote, produce and sell on their platform. It's not a console any more. None of the current gen systems are "game consoles" any more. Whether you like it or not, the name of the game today is diversity and downloadable content and if you can't see that, you're living in 2005.

The physics are quite good and intricate. There are wind patterns to contest with in advance courses and you never quite feel like "shi.. how did that happen?". It's more like "Whoops, I screwed that one up". The physics are heavily mathematically based. The best players use calculators and know -exactly- how much distance to take off for instance based on lie, height, etc, but it's not so exact that it's not challenging even for them (luck is involved to a small degree), AND you can still have a fun game without delving into the math of it all. It's really one of the best fantasy golf games ever made. Check out the FTP PC version.
