Bleach: Heat the Soul 6 announced

Feb 9th 2009 11:08AM (Joystiq Playstation)
I'd love it. too bad it won't be localized, just like the previous 5. Sega can't bring it over because SCEA holds publishing rights on the PSP. Sega only has those rights on the DS, hence the reason Bleach made it here on the DS. I'd love to see this and Soul Carnival come over localized for the PSP, but it's just another example how Sony hates their non-asian customers...

Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings trailer unleashed

Jan 26th 2009 9:46AM (Joystiq Playstation)
Wow, what a crappy trailer. The transitions didn't even makes sense. Plus missing Harrison Ford voice, hmm. Might give it a look when it comes out, but it's going to have to get dazzling reviews...

Atlus brings another PSP game stateside: Class of Heroes

Jan 21st 2009 11:03AM (Joystiq Playstation)
It's seriously "old school", but from the looks if it, it was meant to be. If this succeeds, then it shows there is still a market for this type of game. No live animations. Just locations, stats, and flat sprites. I say, it's a welcome addition for those that want to reminisce.

Resistance Retribution: to infect, or not to infect?

Oh, bite my infected arse! LOL :D

PSP firmware 5.03 patches GripShift exploit

Jan 20th 2009 8:18AM (Joystiq Playstation)
Wow, that was fast. Sony must have been nervous about the Gripshift hack to be this quick on the patch. Problem is though that any pre 5.03 bright is going to be susceptible to this, so I hardly see the point. Most people that want a hacked PSP aren't going to bother with a 3000 anyhow.

No Gravity: The Plague of Mind rated by ESRB

And some people say that there is no value beyond pirating with custom firmware. Hopefully now they'll shut up, though I should know better...

Datel sued by Sony over for 'Lite Blue Tool'

Jan 19th 2009 11:00AM (Joystiq Playstation)
"We stand by the belief that curbing piracy on our system is the best way to get the system back to its former glory."

Because we all know how it's hurt the DS, right? Good gawd. It's the LACK OF GAME RELEASES that is killing it and since it's easier to pirate games on the DS, piracy on the PSP is just a scape goat. >.>

Strike First. Strike Hard. New Dynasty Warriors trailer

Jan 19th 2009 10:38AM (Joystiq Playstation)
Haven't played a Dynasty game yet. This may be the one that does it for me. :D

Sony Ericsson refused PlayStation-brand phone idea

Jan 19th 2009 10:31AM (Joystiq Playstation)
I disagree here. Look at the Iphone. Sure some people hate it and won't buy one, but since making a download store for games, Apple has become a leader in downloadable mobile games and software. I believe I read somewhere that they are making the most money of all the providers offering downloadable content right now. Why? Because it's also a phone and people take their cells -everywhere-. This would be a good strategy for them, like how Sony essentially clinched the Blu-ray market from HDDVD by selling PS3's.
