Jan 22nd 2008 4:43PM (Joystiq Xbox)Also COD4 is more tactical and thought provoking. There is no safe spot and you always have a chance to be killed. Unlike Halo3. Also your actions aren't dictated by running in and gunning. The more you stand back and use the maps and terrain and weapons you have the better you do.
Lastly, less little kids who cant play thinking they can do well talking on the mic saying things that they think makes them cool but only makes the rest of us on their team want to blow them away.

Sep 14th 2007 4:03PM (WoW)I think to leave Heroic Strike out of your system is a huge error. You see heroic strike is on a separate cooldown from the rest of your tanking abilities. That means you can cast say sunder and if you have enough rage hit HS right after words to have them both hit for a huge amount of threat. Instead of waiting for the GCD to come back for using the rest of your abilities. So with that in mind my usual cycle is....
Sheild Slam
revenge/sunder(whatever is up first)
Heroic Strike (right after revenge/sunder)
SBlock or sunder till i can use devistate
Then after every sunder/SS/revenge/Sblock i hit HS if I have the rage.
This system allows me to create a rage dump into an ability that has amazing returns. You will find your threat will go up substantially faster using this method. It is especially useful in boss fights were you are full of rage and need something to dump into. HS after every ability=ALOT of threat.
So HS is viable and important

Jul 27th 2007 6:22PM (WoW)Make it a percentage and the hang up would be that if you used it all on execute or something else then your SOL. But if you have half life and a lot of rage left after any fight. You can then take that and convert it. Such as 300hp per rage point or something. Makes grinding and farming so much easier.
Another addition I would like would be what you said. Shield spikes suck and arnt worth the ore used to make them. If they improved them to allow us to do damage with our shield as you said I would be so much more happy.
Lastly, get ride of the damage increase in berserker stance!!! Its an annoyance and no one likes being in that stance because of the increase in damage they take which doesn't give a great enough damage increase to be beneficial at all. Its uncalled for. Buff the stances more, make them truly what they stand for. Make the buffs make more sense.
