720p PS3 games downscale on older HD sets [update 1]

It's more like down scaling when you convert 720p to 1080i. Same about of data, interlacing just gets annoying. 1080p is the way to go. Too bad my 61" Samsung DLP, gen 7, puts bars around the Xbox 360 picture when I use the VGA cable in 1080p.
