Mass Effect 2 'Alternate Appearance Pack' DLC adds new costumes

I feel like Will Ferrell in Step Brothers after he found out he wasnt going on the boat, Derek was selling the house, and he had to go to therapy?

Nielsen: 360 has most 'active users' in 2009, Wii has fewest

Aug 11th 2009 2:25PM (Joystiq)
I play my 360 a couple of times a week, and normally for extended periods of time. Sadly its now bee right at a year since I even turned the Wii on, I keep telling myself I should sell it, but keep thinking I might go back to it. After the novelty of the controller wore off, I found few of the games all that appealing.

Battlestar Galactica: Daybreak, Part 2 (series finale)

Mar 21st 2009 11:44AM (AOL TV)
This episode left me satisfied and unsatisfied at the same time. The episode did what BSG does so well, combine the great, the good, the merely passable with the truly awful all in one episode. Maybe not truly awful, but with as great as the first part of the episode was, the ending left me with a merely "meh" feeling. Its funny that the abandon the technology to stop the cycle, yet the society seems to develop very similar to what was on the colonies.
I will say that the attack on the cylon colony was great, the special effects and all of it. It ranks up there with the assault on New Caprica. Still might not top the atmospheric jump and the sacrifice of the Pegasus for me, but its close.
Its funny, even though they wrapped everything up, I wasnt more satisfied than with the ending of the Sopranos, I guess its just so difficult to end a great show.
I guess Kara was some sort of angel, but its not something that I really like. I would have rather her been some sort of cylon offspring hybrid, same with Baltar.
I guess this episode leaves me as unsatisfied as most of this past season did. The show just seemed to spend too much time on pointless stuff and left a number of things unanswered.

The Office: New Boss

Mar 20th 2009 9:51AM (AOL TV)
My guess having the new corporate district manager has less to do with Michael and the branch, and more to do with filling the position that has been vacant since Ryan got fired. But it did seem somewhat odd since just a few episodes ago Michael was on a tour of other branches to share his management style. A simple exchange between the black George Clooney and David Wallace about corporate's frustration over the Willy Wonka incident, and Michael acting like a child, might have gone a long way.

Also, wasnt Jim actually made the number two at the branch after the merger? I know that storyline never really went anywhere, and some time has gone by since then, but I even remember Jane recognizing the position and her not Michael giving him that role. Maybe even then it was a fake position she created to not give Dwight or Michael power.

Guess which two shows are missing from this best of the 90s list - VIDEO

Feb 10th 2009 6:05PM (AOL TV)
Leaving off the West Wing because it really only had half a season in the 90's would have been fine except for the Sopranos. I honestly think of both those shows being this decade, and not in the 90's. Both great and deserving to be on a list like this, except they really didnt spend much time in the 90's.

Joystiq review: Fallout 3's Operation: Anchorage (DLC)

I waited for the game of the year on Oblivion, and eventually re-baught Morrowind on the Xbox when the game of the year edition came out; I figure Ill do the same this time around.

No, I had heard it was coming out, but I was still able to get a good price on it, and still have a backlog of games. Figured sell it then, and then come back to fallout 3 sometime down the road when it goes on sale. But the DLC coming out for it is making wish I hadnt done that now. Oh well.

Makes me wish I hadnt already sold Fallout 3. Will need to re-buy the game at some point, will probably wait for either all three DLC, or for a "game of the year edition" which Im sure will eventually come out in a year or so.
