Wow. Where'd that come from? I meant no insult. Just not a lot of games in that time frame. And yes. I sold it at a premium outside of gamecrazy with a few extra games to one lucky lady. (The store was out of wii's.)
This is all i've been waiting for. I had a near-launch day Wii but sold it three months later cuz there was just no games. Plain and simple. But now that there are a few (Monster Hunter FTW) i'm back on board. Only thing that could have been better was the fabled (inevitable?) Wii HD.
I hated what I had to do to activate my Cerberus Network, and you may have been slightly joking, but I agree %110 percent. If a game i planned on purchasing goes this route, I will always buy it new. Take note gaming industry, THIS is how you fight pirates(the ones who might have actually bought your game), and used game sales.
Your exactly right. Everyones been saying that but i kept my mouth closed 'cause I knew it wouldn't be true, But here it is. Straight from their own mouths. This isn't for the core demographic whatsoever. Because we, for the most part do not want "controller-less games" Whatever they may come up with.
Dont misunderstand, i'm still going to buy one if i see some entertainment coming from it in a few months after launch. But this has definitely taken the magic out of the device for me.
Yeah. When I read that I said out loud "Wow. That's a great idea... Why didn't I think of that?". What a way to reach your audience. The people who are actually going to buy these games. I'd definetly "attend". Even for a small fee. Or better yet make it free/discounted for gold members. And this is great even for the game journalist. Imagine they have a special code they could enter into the "booth" to get the things they don't want us to see. Though then the issue of security leaks comes into play. Someone could just record their TV. And I'd be hard to near impossible to determine whodunit.
Omg... This is probably the dumbest thing I have ever heard...
...Are they taking preorders?
But seriously, its going to sell. Nintendo just has some sort of power over the average consumer.... Still, i think this will sell in America, not because someone wants to watch you play pok-e-mons, but because bigger is often equated as better. Heck, if i was still a kid i'd love for someone to pull out their dsi "mini" only to show them up with my XL that i pulled from my duffle bag i'd need to haul it around.
