Yep, and this is why you don't give a Japanese game to western developers, half of the interview was him talking about how they're trying to please new gamers and live up to modern game expectations instead of trying to do something new. Silent Hill 1 and 2 weren't trying to please anyone with their clunky controls and messed up angles, they were just trying to make a unique game and tell a story which is why they're so amazing.
