They couldnt cope with the changing climate. Then the gopher, the playstation came and took over.
So yeah nice illustration but it has already happened once, and your right it might happen again. but the revolution wont be the machine that adapts to the new climate. in 3 years you will know what i mean.

Isnt this the same for all major comapanies. I mean remeber the disaster that was the expansion pack(at least in the Uk). And microsft decision to make it that you have to pay for a remote to play dvds on the xbox. All companies try to rip you off thats how they make money. but the real question is who gives you best value for money? If the ps3 is sold at a staggering loss, than surely thats a stagerring benefit for people who pay only a fraction of the cost. (this goes for all companies)

And online gaming has been around since for ever. People are actually starting to belive that copyright happens as soon as a idea leaves you mouth. it dont. If nintendo or microsoft truly invented anything they would have pateneted it within 10 secs. If they did not patent it, then they did not create it. simple as.

And the gamecube was rubbish, I dont care much for graphichs and multemidia features on consoles but for gaming that console was 2nd worst only to the philips cd-i. And the third party support wont get better on rev. Most of all this feature would be pointeless on any machine.
