Kassie, I too think that the blog is real. First of all, I have seen troll postings. They make their nasty comments or page,and they leave it be knowing that they have riled up lots of people. They don't fire back at negative comments saying, "Why aren't you listening to me? I had no other choice!!" and "What would you have done? The monster was poisoning my little girl!!"

Second of all, the blog started last month right before the story broke nationally (although I could be wrong on the date) and it was a blog of her being "Kirsten" or "Kristen" and felt like letting everyone know that Megan wasn't deserving of sympathy. And then she posted another blog with the comments that agreed with her and her praising them and their common sense ending it with, "see, Megan was a b****"

I don't know about you, but I have never seen a troll get that elaborate, so that leads me to believe it is her. And if the blog is real it pretty much explains why the Drews have not tried to make a public apology (which I kept expecting, didn't you).

The Drews obviously feel no need to apologize. If they would just come out and say that what they did was wrong and they were very sorry the pressure would ease a little, I think.

zwarrior, you made some interesting comments about the japanese and their lack of contact with african-american people. Allow me to point out a few things.

I lived in Japan for three years. It was very nice, but I noticed something. Japanese seem to go into two extremes. On one side they are extremely friendly and love to chat it up with the funny gaijin. On the other they are extremely racist. I have seen Japanese only buildings. I have had people refuse to get on an elevator with me.(I stayed on just to piss the person off) So it isn't just about how much contact they have with foreigners. I'll explain more below. And the term for the the super-tanned, bleached-hair bimbos in Japan is kogal. You can type that term up into Wikipedia and get info on them. I saw a few of them, and they were not really attractive.

Emceay, I'll be perfectly honest with you. Asian people love white skin. I'm not joking. I am 5'3" and white as mayonaisse. I get teased contantly about how I can't tan here, but in Japan they loved it. They spend buttloads of money on skin whitening cremes and treatments that are poisonous. No joke. That's why you see such white characters on their animes and games. It is very attracive to them. Tanned skin denotes a common worker out working in the field while pale skin shows an intelligent person who got a good business job and spends their days inside. Royalty always had pale skin and that is what they want. You can wikipedia that shit too like the kogals. But that is the way a lady explained it to me. They absolutely love pale skin. They gush over it. They think it is beautiful.

They are getting better about it. I make it sound awful, but it is changing. Hey look at AfroSamurai, that was awesome. And you may not be a huge anime fan but I am and I have noticed more dark skinned characters appearing. Tousen in Bleach. Panther in Eyeshield 21. All very cool characters. Those may be on a game in Japan. But it is changing, so cheer up.
