@Uncle Jesse I'd rather he didn't say anything. This comes off as looking petty and defensive, and it's also making it into a bigger thing than it is. If there are more varied environments, just release some screenshots of them sometime. He doesn't have to say "Hey, but Alan Wake ripped us off too!"

A high-quality adventure game coming from someone who isn't Telltale. This is exactly what we need if the genre is to survive. Otherwise, Telltale will oversaturate the market with their brand, which is already getting a little stale. We need more people to do new things!

@Aeikozz Why wouldn't they report on it? They're a website for news. This is news. They're not trying to make Microsoft happy, they're trying to report news.

Even on the iPhone, which is 90% clones, this isn't true. I'm fine with Gameloft's practices (at least they acknowledge what they do), but this is a horrible justification.

I've bought this game probably three times, and I still can't wait to throw my money at them for it again.

Why don't you just call him Notch? That's how the rest of the community refers to him. It always takes me a minute to realize you're talking about Notch when you write stories about Persson.

The iPhone version is one of my favorite games on the platform. I'm expecting this one to be just as awesome.
