Ugh. VGCats is so boring. Plus, ripping of Peanuts is lame.

Wiimote vs. Sixaxis, Round 1: Downhill Jam vs. Project 8

Oct 23rd 2006 7:22PM (Joystiq)
@ #53 Unit... You had me at "def'". But seriously, I think that whenever a company enters uncharted territory, people get scared that they'll be fooled into purchasing something that looks cool, but nobody likes. For example, Nintendo has had a lot of failed add-ons and peripherals, even though the core design has always worked (except for VB, that thing gave me headaches!). But yeah, after seeing this I am 100% confident in Nintendo's product. The only thing I have yet to see is a Wii social community via the internets.

I will never stay up this late for a Joystiq news post again. I was promised something great, and I got microchips. If this shows up on digg tomorrow, I'm marking it LAME!!

Video *space* games declared victor

Check your dictionary!

"Videogames" is not a word. "Video games" is the proper spelling. I'm sorry, but just because 45% of the pollers can't spell doesn't make them right. Feel free to continue to spell it incorrectly and look like dumbasses tho, by all means.

The ultimate turkey sandwich

Nov 29th 2005 11:44AM (Slashfood)
I always make Turkey Shepherd's Pie the day after Thanksgiving. I put some leftover dinner rolls in the bottom of a bowl, which are probably hard by now, and I dribble a little gravy on them. Then, I put some thick pieces of turkey on top. Then, some stuffing, more gravy, and then mashed potatoes. I heat the whole thing up in the microwave, and when it's done I put two slices of canned cranberry sauce on top. It's perfect at about Noon the day after Thanksgiving! ^_^

Keeping Up With the Cranberries

Nov 29th 2005 11:38AM (Slashfood)
My family would absolutely not eat the sauce made of real, fresh cranberries at Thanksgiving. They only like the kind that comes in a can. But, I eat it too. It's soooo deliciously processed. :)

Jones Thanksgiving Sodas

Nov 14th 2005 8:32AM (Slashfood)
On Friday night, a bunch of my friends and I got together, and my wackiest friend in the bunch had bought this Thanksgiving pack. All five of us taste-tested each soda, and let me tell you, the results not as expected. All of them were pretty bad, except for the cranberry sauce soda. We all thought that we would even enjoy the pumpkin pie soda, which smelled fantastic, but even that made us gack once we finally tasted it. I'm pretty sure my partner-in-crime will have a series of photos and reactions to the sodas on our website wafflesquadronomega.com sometime this week.

Slashfood Ate: Best Food Network shows

Why no props are given to Emeril or Chairman Kaga (read, Iron Chef) is beyond me. Two of the biggest icons in moden food television have gone totally unrecognized in your list. Rachel is going to have to get bumped off the top at some point because, in my opinion, many of her recipes do NOT take 30 minutes; 30 mins. just to COOK maybe...
