Lenovo X300 ad takes the MacBook Air head-on

Mar 20th 2008 6:39PM (Engadget)
Why do PC users have to be so defensive/shit eaters? I'm a PC user myself (for now) but I don't see why others PC users insist that people shouldn't use MAC's. Many of you are listing missing features etc. Anyone ever think most users don't use all the features they are given. Ever think some people don't mind paying for less? Honestly I've used the Air and it's a very clean elegant solution. It's very straight forward and too the point. A lot of users (myself included) don't want all the extras. 1 USB port? Not a big deal for a travel laptop. If you really need a mouse use a bluetooth one. For me the Air doesn't make sense because I need a laptop as a main system. I could make due without the DVD drive but I need more CPU/RAM/Usb/firewire for audio devices and external drives. Most business users don't use Mac's and most business users are NOT allowed to install their own software. Companies that outsource to IBM often have to wait up to two months to have software installed by one of IBM's tech's.

Stop hating on Apple. People aren't buying their product because they are uneducated and stupid. They are buying it because it makes sense for them. Why do you feel so threatened?

I'm surprised we haven't moved to web based interfaces already. There's no reason why the Desktop UI couldn't be written and modified web interfaces.

This is bull. If this game has a different target audience then don't bother commenting. Gamers that buy crap like this don't usually read reviews, blogs, etc.

I find most engadget readers know nothing about quality. It's all about disposable technology on the cheap here.

US Air Force seeking 300 PS3s for "technology assessment"

What's the point. I'm sure the military has much more powerful computers to use. I know they always seem to be researching what China is able to do with game consoles but I highly doubt a PS3 will be used to launch missiles.

Cool another sexed up female protagonist game. I honestly doubt her pants were that tight in real life. Sure it's nice to look at but why not give us a character that takes time to understand rather than another f*** em and duck em type?

I think it's almost time to switch sides. I mean the 360 has great games but with mine busted again it's time to return it and swap it for a PS3. I use to be loyal to the XBOX 1/360 but my loyalty becomes less every day while the PS3 is getting stronger every day. Let me use my 360 controllers on the PS3 and all will be well.
