Apr 7th 2006 4:03PM (Engadget)I would love to hear about your "ultimate rig" that costs $700. I have long since given up on PC gaming, but don't the top tier graphics cards cost $200-300? Doesn't leave much money for other minor essentials like ram, cpu and other things.
PC gaming will always be at the forefront of the graphics war. I personally am happy to not have the newest PC games, if I can pay under $500 for a system that will not be dated for 5 years.
