New cars (some free) hit Forza 2
Aug 1st 2007 10:55AM (Joystiq)Yeah. Maybe we they should have waited another year and charged us $600 for a "game" console with an HD format (blu-ray or hd-dvd). Then maybe we could have an stalled user base of less than 6 million. And maybe we can just sit there and watch movies on it all day long so we could have extra content on one game. Please, I hardly think releasing a game and giving consumers the "choice" in purchasing more options is such a bad alternative. Games are long enough as it is. Especially when we get more than a dozen more titles this fall.. does anyone really have time to play more tracks, stages, whatever. But I guess you can't make everyone happy. I'm sure the majority of 360 owners are happy though.

Jul 31st 2007 4:19PM (Joystiq Xbox)"I haven't been this happy since me and my gf had sex about 15 times throughout the day and then she made me a steak while I played Halo 2..."
I haven't been this happy since my GF and her hot blonde friend (Jessica) and I had a threesome.. then went out to dinner... then I got home and played Halo 2 while I got a blowjob from both of them!!
Come on man... nobody wants to hear about your love life with that whale of a GF you have!!

Jul 31st 2007 9:53AM (Joystiq)Video Games are getting too long as it is. I got rid of Oblivion because it was WAY too long. It was a great title.. but who's got time anymore to invest in a week to play a video game? Some would complain that a game like Gears of War is too short.. but 10 hours is plenty to get an enjoyment out of a title. That coupled with endless time in multi-player games and you really get your money's worth. Developers should start making beautiful and rich titles and break them apart more. Either through continued titles or multiple disks.. who cares?!? I would definitely argue against needing more. The more you try to cram into anything, the less interested people will be. It's all about quality anyway. Why not make a beautiful title and keep it short instead of making a long ass title.. just because you can... only to be doing the same thing over and over again for hours??

Jul 30th 2007 5:42PM (Joystiq)Take PGR4 for example. They can only include a day or a night track, for each track, not both because of the limitations
Are you making stuff up? PGR3 included day, night, and overcast on all tracks. Compression techniques I'm sure are further along since the launch of 360 and I am pretty sure all tracks will include weather and time of day. Are you a PS3 owner or something?

Jul 30th 2007 5:28PM (Joystiq)Ummm... it's already been confirmed that all of Halo 3 (including multiplayer) will be on one disk. Any additional maps are downloadable via xbox live marketplace onto your HDD. Sorry, next argument!!
