What, are you crazy? Isn't your argument contradicting itself. Having the developers utilize the hard drive is one thing.... but to say 360 games need blu-ray?!? For one, 360 doesn't play blu-ray. Second, why would you want help to go it's competition. That's what PS3's marketing campaign has been all along.. "Blu-Ray"! And guess what.. it's been their hardest and UNPROVEN sell yet. I agree with other poster's BLU-RAY is not needed. If you think 360 has tapped out of it's power or storage compression already.. you're crazy. Microsoft's only mistake is that they should weed out the Core (like Sony did away with consumers that bought into the hard drive add-on last gen) and allow developers to use the hard drive. Anyone who buys a 360 is already hardcore and will pay the money for the hard drive storage needed. I know of no one that bought a CORE unit.
If you Fony Fanboys are going to argue the difference in blu-ray with games like Heavenly Sword and MGS4... then I have 2 games for you... COD4 and RE5. Both games look just as impressive.. if not better. A price drop on the current hardware should be due in the near future. What need do we still have for the core??

Jul 25th 2007 10:16AM (Joystiq)Ha ha ha. Definitely a matter of opinion. What's so great about PS3 titles or lack there of... that's going to sell $500 systems!! Yeah right. This isn't last gen kids. There are plenty of games coming to all systems.. not just Sony. We'll see this fall... then I can laugh in your face that no one will pick up a 360 over a PS3??? Ha ha ha.
By the way... More exclusives on PS3???? Are you on crack?? Most of them that aren't first party titles are only timed!! Nice B.S. story you're trying to feed everyone.
Xbox 360's Virtua Fighter 5 slated for October 30th
Jul 25th 2007 10:10AM (Joystiq)Halo has never been about having the prettiest graphics (although they are still impressive)... it's about the gameplay and online community. Something PS3 is still lacking. Wow, you have one pretty game... doesn't mean a game is good. We'll see how it plays and how long the fun factor remains. The Halo franchise has proven time and time again that Millions love investing in hours of play. GRAPHICS don't make or break a game FONY FANBOYS!!!
Xbox 360's Virtua Fighter 5 slated for October 30th
Jul 25th 2007 10:03AM (Joystiq)LAZY PORT?? These titles are clearly released months after the 360 on the PS3. What happened to the arguements of more development time?? Isn't that your excuse for why VF5 looks better on 360?? You would think it could have looked equally as good with more development time.. but alas... another crap port even with extra time. Nice hardware.
Nope, not jealous. So one gives an opinion based on truth... MGS4 DOES LOOK WORSE THAN THE TRAILERS... and all of a sudden I'm jealous?? I don't think so. Not a fan of MGS. BORING!! Love all the commuication cut sequences!! Good times!! COD4 looks better. Sorry.
RE5 isn't a 360 exclusive... we'll see how the 2 of them compare... but all that's been shown is on the 360 hardware.
