Xbox Live 'FIFA hack' concerns continue to escalate, Microsoft states Windows Live ID not compromised

Jan 4th 2012 3:23PM (Joystiq)
This exactly what happened to me. 2 days before christmas I got an email that 40 dollars worth of points had been purchased. I also saw that the last played game was FIFA, which I don't own. My account is still up for investigation and I've not heard back yet.

Parasite Eve 2 rated for PS3 and PSP by ESRB

Jul 13th 2011 11:41AM (Joystiq)
@TasticBycrom I played it when it first came out. I was extremely disappointed. It felt like the genre of the game almost completely changed and that this was just a brand new, barely related game. At that time, I was calling it "Resident Eve" since it felt like a Resident Evil game that they applied a Parasite Eve theme to.

Insomniac Games took negative Resistance 2 fan feedback to heart

I didn't think the games were amazing, but it was a good FPS for my wife and I to play since the respawning system favored people who aren't all that great at video games. I'm hoping that they bring it back so that we can play through another installment of the game.

Red Alert 3 Ultimate Edition to launch with free DLC

Feb 4th 2009 1:52PM (Joystiq Playstation)
I've only played the demos so far but plan on getting this game for PC. I installed the demo on my xbox, played it. Thought it was fun. I was curious to see how different it would be on my PC. My laptop isn't a very good computer and doesn't have anything other then onboard video and i was suprised it even loaded.

When I loaded the game and set the game to my resolution I could see a dramatic difference. The game was now mind breakingly beautiful compared to the xbox version. I looked at my graphics settings and everything was on the lowest possible setting or off (such as terrain textures).

Controlling the game seemed a lot less clunky then it did on the console and overall just seemed to work better. On top of that its only 30 bucks for the PC. Overall I would say if you are a red alert fan and have a moderately ok PC get this for the PC before you ever purchase it for the console.

Ask PS3 Fanboy: Volume 18

Jan 18th 2009 10:30PM (Joystiq Playstation)
I have a question. Though i know it won't be answered by ps3fanboy itself, i thought maybe it's readers could answer. Is there anywhere one can look to see when home releases new items into the game? Ps3FB doesn't seem to tell you when clothing and items like that get added.

Unsurprisingly low Valkyria Chronicles sales

If you are waiting for trophies i wouldn't hold your breath. This is the kind of game where i think trophies wouldn't work well at all and would be rather pointless. The game itself is an awesome work of art with a pretty epic (and good) plot.

Yet another batch of Home invites go out

Nov 26th 2008 8:35PM (Joystiq Playstation)
I refuse to buy another sony product or anything for my ps3 until i get into home. I've been a supporter of the ps3 since the launch and have over 500 dollars worth of things purchased from PSN and not received an invite.

I can't get the costume pack for LBP or the pirate game either. Getting some error code.

PS3 Fanboy review: LittleBigPlanet

Oct 28th 2008 10:07AM (Joystiq Playstation)
I am having exactly the same problem. I just ended up turning of the internet connection on my ps3 and the levels load fine. I can wait till the servers are less bombarded since I am having enough fun with the level creator and game itself.
