google a little .. theres a way to be able to log in to the PSN withtout upgrading..
all you have to do is create a local DNS on your network and redirect firmware check traffic.. pretty easy to find..

dont worry, you still have alot of time the finish it..

Shouldn't a HDD only change the file location in the partition table when it copies (move) files on itself ? If the Xbox partition is not doing this it's kinda weird imo.
