Mar 22nd 2008 5:57PM Yeah I agree-- I kind of like timed unlockables. It's like the daily stuff in brain training, or the daily quests in WoW. It's when they ship a game (Katamari on 360) WITH all of the content locked and make you pay for it that is a problem.

Mar 5th 2008 12:26PM I absolutely HATED this game the first time my girlfriend and I played it. She is not a big gamer (harvest moon and flash-time-management games are about it) The kids she babysits have it and she was bugging me to rent it.
However... I came home the next day to see one of our houseguests having an absolute blast unlocking things, trying to beat world records, etc. I gave it another go, and it's quite fun after you learn how to do each event. It's more fun playing 2 player.
It's just a little bit better than average- but don't rage about it for being a hit seller. It might be a cash in... but isn't anything Olympics related? Think about how many "official CHIPS or BEER of the Olympic Games" commercials you see. At least this one's healthy.
I'm still not buying the damn game though ;)
