Skulls of the Shogun preview: Dem bones

Jun 13th 2011 11:53AM (Joystiq)
@rockandrollpaul 2nd to last paragraph:

"An actual release date is "not quite official yet," acccording to Vance. "We're talking to people." The team definitely plans to bring the game to the PC later this year, and it's practically made for Xbox Live (as you can see from the screenshots above), but Haunted Temple is still in talks with Microsoft."

Nokia Kinetic concept offers some ideas Nokia might want to heed

I don't understand it. How can a company produce such a sweet (and seemingly doable) concept, and still be in such a tough competitive spot? This looks amazing.

Nokia N900 drops to $369, unlocked

Jun 23rd 2010 9:57AM (Engadget)
Goodness gracious, it was hard enough to decide the N8 would be "realistically more useful" than the awesome "super-hackable" N900, and now on top of waiting till the endish part of the year they gotta throw sales up in my face like this?? T_T

Chrome OS like lightning from a USB key: we could get used to this

Nov 24th 2009 6:33PM (Engadget)
I'm actually surprised how fast that Ubuntu (8.10 or 8.04 from what the loader looks like) boot up to be honest. o_o It would of been nice to see a new ext4 with Karmic.

But back on topic, Chrome OS definitely smokes any linux distro I've seen. How is that possible if its a live USB, which I assume wasn't tailored specific for the Vostro? Wouldn't it have to do the time consuming hardware check just like every other live distro?

Nokia abandoning S60 for Maemo on future N-Series devices?

Nov 18th 2009 10:42AM (Engadget)
As long as I can install the new stuff on my old 5800 I don't care, be it S60v6, Symbian^2, or whatever. >_>

I sure hope the next firmware adds EAP TTLS-PAP, so I can finally connect to my University's wi-fi...T_T

and WPA support

...then I'm selling my Nano and DS to get this! :D

Pandora pre-orders go live

UGH! Why is there so much cool stuff coming out! I don't know whether to buy this for portable webbing, games and mp3 player, buy a "Zune Nano" to replace my iPod, go all out to get an Android phone and replace everything...ahhh! My wallet aches.
