Anyone else notice the actual piece of hardware being used in the video. Multiple times it shows an actual unit sitting on top of a computer screen. Hmmmm.

It seems like a wierd place for it, but I live in Salt Lake City, and I probably have 10 or so 4k theatres within about 20 miles of me. It might be more. A couple of the theatres I'm close to are consitently in the top 10, for box office take, at least a few times a year.

I don't even think about how great it looks anymore when I'm in a 4k theatre, but when I see film, it is usually annoying to watch for the first 10 minutes or so. It seems blurry, and the flicker of the frames can be distracting.

They've even had Halo 3 tournaments at one of the theatres. Wish I would have went to that!

I sure wish I could win. My wife will not let me buy one. :(

Actually Doom 3 and Quake use the Doom 3 engine. The unreal engine is totally unrelated to these games and is capable of producing visuals that don't actually suck.

Actually the only tv's that are actually going to work with the HDCP from a Blue-Ray, or HD-DVD player are the ones just comming out. Why you say? That is because the protocol for HDCP was just decided on about a month ago, hence the delay of HD-DVD. Oh, and there is no way to upgrade old tv's to work with the new protocol. So sorry, but you are all wrong. Bitches!
