Luigi's Mansion should be burned, but this has nothing to do with the bill.

"Red Light of Death": The new Red Ring?

shame on you M$. for only including the RRoD under the 3 year extended warranty even though your system faces numerous other widespread hardware problems. for flat out lieing about your hardware issues.

i would have bought your system if it worked for more than a few weeks at a time. looks like i'll just continue playing the "exclusive AAA" 360 games when they get ported on PC.

PSP firmware 3.95 adds minor remote play features

Apr 8th 2008 12:59PM (Joystiq)
we all would prefer 2 analog sticks versus 1, but that didnt stop the N64, Dreamcast, and a bunch of other systems to produce amazing gameplay.

but you know what i do? i bought a stick-on dpad to use over the face buttons. it works beautifully with FPS online gameplay, even though the face buttons are digital. hell you could even stick a coin on.

Rumor: LittleBigPlanet coming to the PSP

Apr 8th 2008 11:13AM (Joystiq)
some of you guys are seriously stupid. Crono, Mr. Nimblewick...

first off, assuming the rumor is true, i guarantee the PSP version of this game will not have the same gameplay level as the PS3 version due mainly to the vastly inferior CPU.

secondly, yes a PSP-level toned down version could be ported to Wii, as Wii's capabilities are very similar to PSP/PS2.

you guys saying LBP showing up on PSP is proof that the PS3 version of LBP could be pulled off on Wii is like saying virtually every PSP/PS3/360/Wii/PS2 multiplat game offers the exact same gameplay level.

oh yeah one more thing and this one especially goes out to Nintendonald's lovers: theoretically speaking, the PSP version would be pretty much identical to the Wii version except a) it wouldnt have stupid waggle controls that dumb down/spoil the gameplay and b) it would have a superior online gameplay experience.

an actual credible link from a credible source, unlike a random newly created blog and forum posts most likely made by the M$ Xbox Damage Control Unit.

Alan Wake 'media blackout' still in effect [Update 1]

Apr 7th 2008 2:24PM (Joystiq)
Wake me up when M$ solves the various Xbox 360 hardware failures/problems (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_360_technical_problems) and i'll consider buying the system for good games such as this one.

Nintendo reigns supreme in Japanese hardware and software sales

what a disgrace it is to see the top 3 selling games are the highest quality of crap Nintendonald's has ever produced.

NPD: 72% of US played games in '07, online gaming still 'small'

"The survey was conducted using a sample of 20,240 members of the NPD Consumer Panel."

epic fail right there.

DualShock 3 available next week, compatibility list released

Apr 2nd 2008 2:51PM (Joystiq)
DualShock 3 = the best controller this gen.

the only thing i admit isnt perfect is the feel of the L2/R2 triggers. however, ill accept this shortcoming since the 360 controller has an inferior dpad, inferior feel/positioning of face buttons and L1/R1 buttons, and lack of motion sensing. plus i prefer the symmetrical analog sticks over the 360 analog stick layout.
