2K proclaims: our sports games will run in 60fps
Aug 28th 2007 4:22PM (Joystiq Playstation)Ummm. I'm sorry. I just paid 600+ for this "next gen" system that spend the better part of 2005-2006 blasting numbers in my face telling me how the graphics on this machine would be all that and a bag of chips meanwhile current/old gen systems already had 60 fps games out for years (going through STANDARD DEFINITION TELEVISION ). Now almost a year after the debut , of ALL the graphic problems to arise, a simple thing like framerate should not be one of them.
I'll admit right now , I'M one of those people who believe your self-made tag line "60fps or it sucks" because this machine comes OUT THE BOX with hdmi and does 1080p WITH blue-ray caps. So , with all that , you couldn't pull a simple spec like 60 frames per second all over the board? ESPECIALLY on a machine that pretty much forces you to put your game on a hd-media?
It not a little thing. Its a big thing. It's big enough to make me go to EA right now and slap all of them....in the nutz...with a horse.
