The feminist argument doesn't really make sense to me. . . usually, you're either choosing your father's name or your husband's name. You didn't pick it, your family didn't collectively decide on that name. It's your father's father's father's father's name, which really makes it a tiny part of your heritage.
I am engaged and plan on changing mine. My name is a little awkward and gets made fun of. Also, his name is fairly common; my name is misspelled a lot.

Ugh. . . fashion is getting really ugly. Sandal boots? Rompers? Two-tone hair? Leather mini with front pleats? The 2010s are going to have the same connotations as the 1980s twenty years from now.

My fiance and I are both very sexual, but neither of us is willing to share. I am sexually attracted to women, and I find that having open dialogue about desires for other women makes the idea of being with other people seem less forbidden. My man has told me countless times that just being able to talk about these things with me makes cheating seem much less alluring than it has in any previous relationship. In the past year or so he's become more comfortable with me talking about attractive men (he is not bisexual, and has more of a jealous streak than I do). We both are also very comfortable with each other's use of porn and masturbation.
Maybe this is still "too monogamous" for some people, but I have never encountered a truly open relationship in which the couple was actually able to remain committed.

21 seems like a really young cutoff age for short shorts. I live in the South and it's miserable here right now. Everyone wears little shorts here. I'd say anyone under 35, under maybe a size 16 or 18, and not a mother to anyone over five can pull them off, but maybe it's a little different in places where they're not so much a necessity.

My mom is about 50 lbs overweight, but you wouldn't be able to tell at all from a headshot. I also know people who are at a healthy weight, even the low end of healtthy,who have double chins because they just have a receded jaw.

I think military-inspired on girls is sexy, sort of industrial-punk without reminding one of really awful German music. But I'm in full agreement about the boot-sandals. They sort of remind me of sleeveless turtlenecks, or that weird hangy vest-like garment that's popped up in the past year or so. They don't make any g**damn sense.

I live in the South, and I used to take public transportation daily. I rarely had to stand on the bus because most Southern men will offer their seats to a woman, ESPECIALLY if she has young children, is elderly, or is just especially tired-looking. I understand that some people think of the standard etiquette of my region as being sexist, but pregnant women here don't stand on buses.

Half of your comment was "cliche pop psychology." We get three lines form the girl and you're diagnosing her self-esteem issues. Get over yourself.

A massage in and of itself isn't cheating, but if you hide the massages from others, especially your boyfriend, especially if you're in a serious relationship, then they're inappropriate. Think of it this way: if you found out your man was getting massages from an aroused female behind closed doors at work, how would you feel?

Wow, fiance and I do all of these things, it must be meant to be. . . I didn't know other people popped each others' zits! I pop my fiance's zits ALL THE TIME. There is nothing that drives me crazier than a big fat whitehead on the face of someone I'm talking to. Actually though, I've popped friends' too. . . I think I have a problem.
