I'm pretty sure that on the level of Hell I'm going to, Satan will be forcing me to read game-related webcomics.

here's to a hopefully charming E3 showing, little Elebits. win my heart!

Super Monkey Ball rolls onto Revolution

Apr 26th 2006 2:46PM (Joystiq)
"This series is aging? I can see saying that if there had been 4 or 5 titles by now and the formula was wearing thin but... There have really only been 2 titles released and then second one was a very nice leap forward over the original title (I'm obviously not incluing the PS2 and Xbox repackagings)"

don't forget the GBA and DS games!

anyway, the series is aging because it's pretty much a one trick pony. obviously they're trying to branch out with Monkey Ball Adventure, but who knows how that will go? the Revolution controller, at least, is PERFECT for the Monkey Ball game design, which will at the very least make this new version the most fun and intuitive to play.

well... in Super Monkey Ball, technically, you don't control the MONKEY BALLS, you control the GROUND.

which makes it a pretty obvious fit for a tilt-sensored controller. no surprises here!

this could be the shot in the arm this aging (but generally entertaining) series needs =w=

I'm 100% positive that Mario Party leads to alcohol consumption much more often than GTA.

Rare to unleash Pinatas on 360s this holiday season

Rare has finally made a game that is more unpleasant to me than Banjo-Kazooie!

GOOD SHOW, GUYS.

Nintendo Revolution prediction: second console of choice

Mar 8th 2006 5:19PM (Joystiq)
"How is this going to bring popular titles to the revolution? Someone sighted an ign article stating 15 developers are working on games.. ask yourself which games? The same old kiddie games with wild monkeys running around.. and talking fruit!"

hey, Rare doesn't even work for Nintendo anymore!

(you see what I did? I interjected Rarebashing into the system bashing! THAT IS A TRUE REVOLUTION)
