Sony's new WiFi-free PSP is targeting teens

Sep 5th 2011 1:41PM (Joystiq)
@stiqlol True, but consider that a) gaming over WiFi with the PSP never really took off outside of Japan that much (I personally always used AdHoc whenever I played with friends) b) internetting via the PSP took off even less and c) most teenagers already have access to the internet through their phones and then Sony's decision makes more sense than it initially seems

Portal 2 DLC coming in mid-September

Besides, it's Valve. Expecting them to release it on time is pretty much outright saying you don't know who Valve are.

Hell, I've mentally changed the release date to October with this news, and I'm pretty sure that's being generous.

Record for lowest-scoring Super Mario Bros. run broken

@Lazyboy
Whilst it does make things easier, it's more time saving. Theoretically, anything done with save states can be done in a single run, it just saves time. And judging by the way he reacted in certain parts of the run, if he was save-stating it was just between levels for convenience.

Half-surprised it wasn't simply allowing us to start paying for the service before it became available.

I think I need to take a break from all the anti-Activison vitriol ._.

Huh, don't see many mainstream FPSes these days doing away with regenerative health.

Looks interesting, even if it is only an on-rails section. Will probably get it when it comes out.

They'd better be careful releasing so much CoD. I mean, they're already at risk from being overfished.

That... that's still happening?

I thought they realised it was one of the worst ideas for a peripheral ever and gave up.

I wouldn't have thought they were instead investing even more money into its research...

But seriously, what market is there for this??
