Being off from University for the summer I don't want to waste all my free time, I'd really like to learn XCode after developing programs in Visual Basic in school for a few years. What sites/books do you recommend that are totally noob friendly? Apple's documentation is helpful but coming from the terribly simple VB environment all this objective C stuff is a bit overwhelming for me and I would really like something to hold my hand through it all.

Is there any way to get quick look, finder, etc to be able to view .ai (Adobe Illustrator) files like it can view .PSDs?

Got mine this morning. It's awesome. Used ziPhone (which messed up a little, fixed in the end though.) to unlock and jailbreak it so now I'm using my O2 pay as you go sim. Unfortunately, apps are having problems installing. But that doesn't really bother me.

BTW, I want to use an O2 sim on Pay As You Go. I'm kind of a noob with all this. So a complete walkthrough from start to finish would be nice (even one from another site not as good as yourselves.)

I'm considering shelling out for an iPhone but I really won't be able to deal with the contract since I'm on a irregular income and being a student and all. I heard when you buy an iPhone (I'm in the UK, so it's from O2) you choose your plan through iTunes. If so, is it possible to unlock it before I choose a package, and if it is possible, how do I do it?

I'm trying to move my iTunes library over to an external Hard Drive. I've copied over the iTunes Music Folder leaving the database in User:Music:iTunes folder. Changed the file option in the advanced menu and clicked OK so it had changed all the file paths in the database. (I confirmed this by checking the info) However, later it said the file wasn't found when it was where the destination pointed to. Also, my iTunes Music Folder magically appeared back in User:Music:iTunes even after deleting it. So now I've had to delete everything from my library and add it again. Now, how the hell can I stop iTunes from placing a copy of my 40GB iTunes Music Folder in the internal drive and keep it on the external, which was the whole reason I bought it.

My college uses blackboard but the damn thing never works right. It always logs us in as the wrong accounts, which is seriously annoying.
