I'm looking forward to using the unlimited data plan that comes with the basic phone plan. Smart move, AT&T/Apple! Surfing the web on this thing is gonna be very nice.

They have been; there are high-resolution texture downloads for the series.

There should be a 2(1/2)D FPS game on XBLA, and the best choice here is Marathon.

Exactly. I need something more. That's why the only racing games I enjoyed were games like Mario Kart, F-Zero and Extreme G. Whereas, I try to get into games like Gran Turismo, Forza, and then PGR, but I can't get the hook.

PGR3, while a polished and BEAUTIFUL driving game, brought nothing new to the table. For racing fanatics, that may be enough, but for the majority of gamers, like myself, it might not be. I traded in PGR3 within a month.

On the other hand, I am excited for TDU. It doesn't need to be on par graphics or control wise, but as mentioned earlier, the MMORPG-qualities of having all players driving online in a digital version of Maui, is too awesome.
