Partisan venom incoming in 3, 2...

I think it would be great to have it, even though I don't listen to the radio much, two things I can think of off the top of my head:

1. At the gym, there's a row of tvs in front of the cardio equipment. They're on various stations, and the sound is turned down. Each one has a sign above it, telling which FM frequency the sound is being tuned to. I never hear that sound, because I'm not going to carry my iPhone AND another audio device on the treadmill.

2. Chiefs games in KC are best enjoyed with the sound turned down and the local radio coverage turned up. However, that radio coverage isn't on the station's web stream due to copyright stuff. My living room audio includes an i-dock, but not an FM tuner.

As far ar the government's role in this regulation... who cares? People pick the most trivial things to go all libertarian over.

Arrrgh. When will Apple open it up in the US?

T-Mobile seems like the most likely candidate, unless Apple puts out a CDMA version. As a T-Mobile iPhone user from launch, I sure would appreciate the chance to upgrade.

Damn. If only there was a way to buy this without the contract.

I've been watching eBay etc for a used one at twice that. When I find one, Apple/At&t will get 0% of that $200. If they'd just sell one sans contract, they'd be getting 100% of my $200. C'mon Apple.

I was reading through these comments just waiting for this shoe to drop. I'm surprised it took 33 comments for some cretin to bring bitter, "Obama is scary" silliness into it.
