MS offers xbox live, paid for by its subscribers.
this is exactly what happened with SEGA's Virtua Tennis. 360 got it online, PS3 did not.
it is SEGA's way of running their shop. they don't want to have to pay for anything if it's unnecessary. but if there is a way to enhance their product without paying from their own pockets, why not?
