New Zynga titles struggle, analysts call for increase in daily active users

@VolcomStone32x I'd love to have Words with Friends on Windows Phone.

Gaikai coming to LG TVs, playable OnLive coming to GoogleTVs

Not that I don't see this as a great option for people such as myself who use these services, but I'm curious as to why someone doesn't simply build an actual console into these TV's, as well, even if it's not necessarily a high-end solution.

Five Modern Warfare 3 DLC drops planned for next three months, 20 total over next nine months

@OGC - Check out RailWorks on Steam. This is nothing. I stopped keeping track of how much RailWorks DLC was available after it topped $1,000.

Dark Souls admin suggests PC could happen with a petition

@jakenome Yeah, I tend to base whether or not I'll buy a specific PC release on whether or not it's on Steam. I do wish Steam would get SWAT 4. That's probably the only game I can think of that I want to play again that isn't on Steam.

@Mmmmz The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series says hi. On PC, fans tend to be pretty willing to make improvements to games that're shipped broken, so I don't think that a bad port/conversion would necessarily hurt in this case. Obviously, I'd prefer a solid release over a broken one, though.

PlayStation Vita design rooted in the Sony Walkman

@BlazeKing - Actually, I thought it was the Fast-Forward button that was usually missing off of the cheaper ones. You could get around it by flipping the tape over and rewinding, then flipping the tape again, but yeah, annoying.

Nikkei: Paid DLC coming to 3DS starting with new Fire Emblem

Spectacular. This is the one game that I was actually considering buying a 3DS for, and it'll be the first one in which Nintendo joins so many other companies in gouging the player for stuff that should've been patched into the game at no cost.

Haha. I wonder if McEnroe has a dedicated Taunt button. XD

Miyamoto: Retro could handle a Zelda game, smartphones aren't competition

@Dan The Man - You know, Capcom made some Zelda games, and those turned out to be really good.

Designer imagines the next Xbox

@(Unverified) - Discs have mostly been obsolete for a while now. Just think of how much some games change after launch with the multitude of patches and DLC that's available. It's almost pointless to even own a disc when you think about it. It'd make more sense for developers to release games primarily as downloads with the intent of pressing and delivering discs to customers once patching and content creation has ceased.
