WRUP: Your 'Best of 2010'

Jan 1st 2011 12:26AM (Joystiq)
I just want to post saying the one more game in addition to the HUGE list of great games this year that I seem to be the only one who remembers.

Tatsunoko VS Capcom.

VS series craziness + a fair amount of balancing = metric ton of fun

Sure, it wasn't perfect (the balancing could have used a liiiiitle more tuning, and the online was pretty much ruined by cheaters and insta-super move wagglers) but I really think it is the best fighter for my money. Until Marvel 3 that is.

Harmonix explains Rock Band 3 legacy track upgrades, pricing

Nov 8th 2010 10:06PM (Joystiq)
By the sounds of this, it really seems like they will only be doing this for songs that were on disc in some form (in a weird way, similar to what they did for Rush's Tom Sawyer when it was released in the album) and continue to try to update songs that were DLC. IIRC all 3 of those Bon Jovi songs to receive updates were disc songs (RB1, 2, and Lego).

Seeing just how good RB3 is, I'm willing to wait and see.

Humble Indie Bundle: Pay what you want for World of Goo and four others

I wound up clicking split evenly. I was sitting there doing the math for everyone involved, but the sliders weren't being very helpful.

Humble Indie Bundle: Pay what you want for World of Goo and four others

Jeez, those people who paid 0.01 for WoG must really be feeling ripped off about now.

Sarcasm aside, I'm sitting here undecided as to which charity I should pick. Child's Play is my usual default for such things, but EFF could use the love. Or should I mix it with the devs? Decisions, decisions.

Also, this name your price sale is really good 'cause I have 26.90 left on an all-purpose gift card I want to use.

CDV vs SouthPeak legal battle gets much, much more complicated

So basically, SouthPeak owned an operated on a remote island either in the shape of a skull or is a giant volcano.
