I call complete hokum on this complaint. I've been enjoying the hell out of the game, and *gasp* hitting everything I shoot at. Now, granted, I suppose I didn't play Uncharted 2 for 100,000 hours and thus develop precise muscle memory and a preternatural "feel" for the aiming.... but I point, I shoot, the enemies die... I dunno, I guess I'm doing something wrong.

While I agree, I think the significant part is that he continues to say this and still sounds enthusiastic about it. It's not like he said 'yeah, sure, that'd be fun' six years ago and is now changing his tune. With as much respect as Boyle has continued to build over the past several years, I would almost be surprised if this DIDN'T get made - assuming he still wants to make it "when the time is right."

@Terry I want to visit your gas station! The service I usually receive at most gas stations in my home state of Jersey is from a surly individual of questionable personal hygiene who does the fill job as slowly and poorly as possible, who then grumbles if I don't provide exact change.

You know, I'm clearly in the minority here, but while we're talking about this flick, I have a question to open up for discussion. Some of the backlash against this film has to do with killing off Newt and Hicks. I'm just curious as to what people would have thought had they kept Newt involved. Aliens was shot in 1986, when Carrie Henn was 10 years old. A3 was '92, when she whould have been 16. Don't you think a child in ageless hypersleep suddenly emerging a full-on teen girl would have been a bit.... strange?

Just sounds to me like part of the script gets murdered for what might have been a simple casting issue. Say what you want about the rest of the plot structure, but I never really found the Hicks/Newt thing to be a big deal.
