It's a shame there's no opinion (other than you guys in the comments, of course) about the Director's Cut on the disc. I saw this and thought perhaps this would be a review of the recent Blu-Ray and its content. I always had a soft spot for A3, and haven't seen the alternate version, so I thought maybe I could use this as part of my decision whether or not to buy the ~$80 Blu set.

I like your work, Todd, and I like the shelf-life series, but this just seems to be a regurgitation of everything that's already been said about the flick. Of course, I realize the response is most likely 'that's because it's all correct'. I'm just disappointed there's not even a fleeting perspective on the alternate release.

Maybe that's another feature entirely - and one I'd love to see on Cinematical - comparisons of theatrical vs. director's cut releases.

Jason is correct, the response is most likely "long enough." Assuming the series more or less follows the comic, Kirkman has always stated the 'hows and whys' of the zombie outbreak are largely unimportant, as the story is about how these characters live in this new world.

I've got to say, I'm having a blast with keys. I'm terrible, and on medium, but it's just fun as hell. And The Doors tracks are awesome!

How about a re-release of the original? It's been out of print for a while. Sadly, the last time I saw it I watched on a friend's laptop while studying abroad in London a number of years ago. I left it in his drive by accident, and have never seen it since. All I have is an empty box :(
